Making Yoda Stories work for XP

Post by avatarxprime »

I recently acquired Yoda Stories and have been trying to get it to work for Windows XP. I know, it's a DOS game and all, but people have gotten it to work in the past. I tried searching for what those people did and then do the same but it hasn't worked. Any help would be much appreciated.

It's not DOS, it's just a really early Windows game.

I don't know if you've tried messing with the compatibility mode for the program, but if I recall, you right-click and go to Properties, then set the compatibility mode to Windows 95 or 98. Those should work, theoretically anyway.

Yeah, my bad it's an old Windows game. Any way, I tried using the compatibility thing but the most I got out of that was finally being able to install the game from the file I got.

If its a dos game try dosbox (just google it for a link, I'm lazy). Great program and tons of my games work great with a little tweaking.
Beware Windows. Linux Comes.
