Want a binary/Predator desktop clock?

Post by Robert Walper »

My dad threw together a little desktop clock some of you might be interested in. Has a couple of settings that might appeal to some of you. I find I like the Predator one. 8)

And for those of you interested in a fancy CPU monitor, you can check this out as well:

Got the clock, cool, but not really that useful, because I've already GOT a desktop clock. It sits in my taskbar.

CPU monitor will be handy though.

Well, duh. So do I. It's a novelty, not a necessity. Sorta like your claims about your brain...

Ya, me neither, although it's binary as I understand and it does tell the time if you can read it. 8)

Now Robert, I only made those jokes about not needing my brain simply so you would feel better about not having one of your own.

Anyway, I'll set my slow connection to downloading it when I go to bed, and then play with it when I arise.

I think the predator clock says: 12:44:34- hard to figure out which order to read the digits.

No idea how to read the bottom part.
and the vertical binary clock says 12:46:54

The bottom part of the Pred clock is in thousandths of a second IIRC.
and the vertical binary clock says 12:46:54
Basic understanding of binary should make it easy to read that one.

PS: The Predator one isn't that hard to figure out now that I actually tried. The "dot" is zero, and the assorted lines are just basic binary representations that are easy to figure out.

I'd have to get my Yautja character sheet out to read the clock... :(

Actually, that's won't work YT.

The Predator "numbers" only look like them. It's binary, you have to know how to read that to make sense of it.
