Lumiya Training and Abilities

Post by Admiral Felire »

I was going through the Wikkipedia site (and then from there other sites) and I noticed mentioning of Lumiya. My question is, is she Sith. I mean, does she possess all the knoweldge of the Force that makes a Sith a separate entity from regular Dark Jedi. If she trained an apprentice that survived would that apprentice be able to say in all truth he was heir to the teachings of the great Sith Lords like Darth Bane and Darth Sidious.

I was just wondering, cause if it is true then the Sith are not actually wiped out and could threaten the galaxy again many millenia hence.

Thanks for any information.

She was trained by Darth Vader. The fact that she made the lightwhip implies that she has Sith training.

Lumiya is the last-surviving Force user which might legitimately be called a Sith. She styles herself "Dark Lady of the Sith."

Marvel Star Wars, and several Star Wars Gamer issues. Lumiya is her nom de guerre; her real name is Shira Brie and under that, her story is summarized in the New Essential Guide to Characters.

Thanks for all the information.

What I find really interesting is that the writers did not actually close the door on the Sith rather they put the group in hiatus. This is awesome as it allows for a writer to rebuild Sith without actually having to come up with some half-assed spirit concept, the Sith line remains unbroken.

On kinda the same topic. What age, in general, do the Sith take their apprentices. In a generic way.

Also, how long does it take, roughly, for a Sith learner to actually become fully trained and proficient in the Sith teachings. The equivalent of when a Padawan becomes a Knight.

Do we have any information on how long an average Sith Lord can live for.

Basicly these questions are so I can figure out how many Sith Lords existed between Darth Bane and Darth Plagueis. While this would be my own made up information I wanted it as close to 'official' as I could make it.
