The sad thing is, that forum is so troll-laden that the majority actually believes RSA's site and quote it to me in huge chunks.
Why wonder why? The answer is simple: obviously, someone somewhere decided that he or she needed Baby Jesus up the ass.

I already said as much as I wanted to say on the issue. Newland, who abandoned the debate some time ago, recently posted again with minor variations on the same arguments- to which I replied once and have not replied again since. In truth, I'm unsure if I'll go back at all, it's gotten a bit old.

Which is what Darkstar's strategy has been all along.

Step 1: Mindlessly repost the same old shit over and over no matter how many times it gets shot down until his opponent gets fed up and leaves.

Step 2: Declare victory.

Yeah, and on forums where he's not about to be banned, it works. The guy's a machine, I swear.

No, that's far too smart for the guy who declared that metal implants are normal for Star Wars humans to try to weaken SW Medical Technology. His brains are pure concrete.

Same here, I popped my head in a few days back and made a post. I haven't checked since. I may go back from time to time, but I don't follow it nearly as much as I do SB and SDN. It's just the same old shit being spewed constantly.

Of COURSE they believe it. It says all the things they want to hear. They're teenagers and if someone says something they like, then it MUST be true. Darkstar wouldn't lie, would he?

Well if ask me, I think that Dorkstar is sad example of the kind of people I asked you about in OT, so he's not lying in traditional sense (he doesn't say anything he doesn't belive (the problem is of course he belives just about everything he can dream of)).
I may be an idiot, but I'm a tolerated idiot

He's told some clearly out-right lies in his "analysis" of the ROTS novelization. In one entry about the Buzz droid missle that apparently launches Buzz droids at enemy starships, he completely omits the part about buzz droids, describes the it as "shrapnel", and then tries to use that as proof that SW missles can't be multi megaton.

Another part where the book explicitly mentions "ablative shields" he has the audicity to say the passage doesn't mention anything about shields.

Yeah, but the point is he belives those lies (no matter how fake they are).

Maybe he had deleted it?
Mike's essay on him is already at least a year old.

I can't find it either but he HAS made an entire page over the suposedly super-secret email list of Wong, Poe and others:

And look here how he is REALLY spanking the monkey by trying to claim they delibrately used his personal site logo in Trek.

He doesn't actually seem to go that far, since he admits the symbol has existed in fandom for a good thirty years, and has a quote from Okuda saying he got it from an old tech manual.

I read this page some time ago, but I didn't notice this: Does DSG2k pretend that he isn't DarkStar?
DSG2k wrote:In August, a man was banned from SD.Net's forums for going toe to toe with Wong. As Wong flung insults, deleted posts, engaged in PR BS, and continually tried to escape a good, honest debate, there was one man who gave as good as he got, pointed out each and every escape attempt, and tried to use Wong's overinflated ego against him to goad him into honest debate. When that man referred to Wong with a wonderfully accurate appraisal in big red letters [link to http://bbs.stardestroyer.net/viewtopic. ... &start=199 ], he was permanently banned...
A man? It was himself for crying out loud. I wasn't around here back then, but man...

And he tries to show that Mike is an amoral person with a single example (namely the incident at the parking lot) followed by a tiresome rant. Oh brother.

No more talking about Darkstar that really isn't necessary, please. This is about the update. We all know he's deluded. He was banned for being a fucking troll- that he actually has the gall to paint it as some sort of heroic act is pathetic, yeah we know. One wonders what reason he invented for being banned from SpaceBattles.com as well.

I'm sure my "secret influence" over there did it!

Can't wait to see it. Were you ever able to find that screen shot from "Pen Pals" that shows a planet with a highly disrupted surface thus refuting idiotic claims defending TDiC that "they didn't know what it should look like" (which would only prove the Trek writers and FX crew can't do simple math--30% isn't that difficult people) or "they couldn't afford it"?

Addition to the "infalliable Mr. Spock" page. Trekkies often chastize Solo for his "12 parsec" blunder yet Spock made a similar mistake in "Amok Time" where he said changing course for Vulcan would only LOSE them 2 light days. I also think a sequel page about Data would be in order.
