Chaos Theory Soundtrack For $0

Post by DPDarkPrimus »

I don't say "free" because it has a cost of time used, which as we all know from economics, means there's no such thing as free. :P

Anyways, I saw this over on Penny Arcade, and am reposting for the benefit of Splinter Cell fans here.

Ok, so many of you know that I've been posting in a couple of the Splinter Cell threads that Ubisoft is giving out 'free' mousepads, as well as the ability to earn other prizes through their CT community site, Team Shadownet.

Well, guess what? Teamshadownet is closing this next Friday, and they still have a shitload of prizes left over. So what did they do? They had a price drop on all items across the board.

Additionaly, because the site is closing, they're giving out an extra 500 points to any user who gives feedback on how well the site was run so that they can make them even better in the future.

The result? Getting a copy of the soundtrack (1500 points) is now ridiculously easy.

So, who wants a free soundtrack?

Sign up, go to the AV room, and click on each link (you don't need to watch the movies, just make sure that the server registered the page request). You should end up with around 1000 points. If you come up a bit short for some reason (I ended up with 970) There's a poll and trivia at the bottom of the main page for a few extra points, and you can click on all the news stories in the News Archive for 5 points each.

Really not that hard to do, took me under 10 minutes to do everything listed above.

Not quite 1500 points yet, so now all you gotta do is the survey, which really doesn't take more than a minute.

Bam, 1500 points, although you'll have to wait until monday for the survey points to come in.

Schweet.
