I thought the reason Revan left so many people behind was because he did not want emotional ties that could be used against him (LS Revan) He was going to places that where dark and he feared what would happen to his friends there, or to him.
As to why T£ and the Ebon hawk, remember this is now planned to be a trilogy, perhaps that is one mystery they are leaving for the 3rd part...
Kreia might not have told Revan of her plans concerning the Exile, the Ebon Hawk might not have even been sent to her by Revan in many ways the Hawk seems to be a ship being used by the Force. Going to people that need it and then dissappearing again, perhaps Revan got rid of the Ebon Hawk and Kreia found it, like so many others before her.

Stofsk For some time now I think, I don't think KOTOR 1 was planned as a trilogy hence the very definite endings. Yet when it not only took off, but REALLY took off, it was obvious they had a hit on their hands. It may explain partly the weaker ending to KOTOR 2 the fact that there is no definite ending, is because it had not ended. Part 3 is obviously dealing with this Sith Empire.
However now that I look again I can only find people saying it should be a Trilogy so I might be wrong. Still it wouild make sense, at the very least if they did it retrospectivly and helped us fans put these questions to rest.
Think about it through
KOTOR, introduce Revan.
KOTOR 2 Introduce the Exile and show what Revan had been up to. Introduce the Sith Empire. (If KOTOR 2 had been the point a Trilogy had been planned it makes sense that it would have more points leading into a trilogy.)
KOTOR 3 Reveal the Sith Empire. Try and help Revan and the Exile defeat it, and more importently find Revan and the Exile. Perhaps you will be sent from the acedemy to go join Revan and the Exile in their fight... It would be a nice round up I think.
As an aside the address KOTOR3.com is already reserved of course. Who by is unsure exactly but if it's not Lucasarts I'll eat my hat. (Unless some clever sod has reserved the address so he can charge Lucasarts for it when they realise it.)
(Thanks the universe that this forum has an edit function So many terrible spelling errors)

From a review of the two Towers.... 'As for Gimli being comic relief, what if your comic relief had a huge axe and fells dozens of Orcs? That's a pretty cool comic relief. '
