It's proven fake.
It was proven fake with this picture of that object (i think it was a CD player?):

But the site is no longer up.

Oh, the one who proved it fake was BlindCinema on the NSider forums.
They just put that device there (which is not a Revolution-anything, I believe it was a CD player or grill or something IIRC), and put that picture on their computer monitor, and snapped it.
It's supposed to be a dev kit/prototype. The XBox's dev kits were beige boxes...Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Not just fake, it's also LAME!!
Jesus, people don't even put effort into forgeries anymore...
Actually, it is a real picture. Non-editted at all.Darth_Zod wrote:meh. not even a half assed decent photoshop job. people actually thought that thing was legit?

doesn't excuse the fact that the photography is absolutely horrid. you can't even really tell what the item is.Praxis wrote:

Not the box, what's on screen. That in no way looks like something for a real commercial product, prototype or otherwise.Praxis wrote:Oh, the one who proved it fake was BlindCinema on the NSider forums. It's supposed to be a dev kit/prototype. That's kinda the point. You want people to not be able to tell it's a fake when they look at itDarth_Zod wrote:doesn't excuse the fact that the photography is absolutely horrid. you can't even really tell what the item is.Praxis wrote:
