I am a Trekkie who thinks that Trek would win (in a all out war between both sides), but that the Federation would NOT win against the main factions of SW.

There is a critical difference.

Because of the listed options, I must choose #2 because it is ST vs SW, not Feds vs Empire.

Ok, by ST vs, SW is meant the Alpha Quadrant forces vs. The Galactic Empire, respectively.

Have a very nice day.

I already voted option #2. To late, it means what it literally says because people have already made their choices by the literal meaning.

Neither. I am a fan of both, but I don't know if I would consider myself very fanatical to the level of Trekkie or Warsie.

As for ST vs. SW. ST would win if they got to use their heavy hitters like Q, etc.

I'm a trekkie in the sense that I loved TOS and the TOS movies. Not as much as Star Wars. New Trek is shitty though.

I love starwars and anything starwars related. I like Startrek, Babylon5 and scifi in general. And I'm an engineer, the Empire wouldn't beat the crap out of starfleet, simply because, facing such a stupidly technological gap, starfleet would go french and surrender.

Might want to rephrase that, as the Klingons and Romulans wouldn't be included under that one since their Empires are (or were, pre-B&B) in the Beta Quadrant.

Hehe. Invader Zim rules. :D

Man, how much of a fan do you have to be for you to be a Trekkie or a Warsie? I like both.

I like both...well TOS and the OT

As for the new stuff...I am not particularly hoorah over SW but as for Trek obviously far too many shots of something destroyed it.

As for the war between Trek vs Wars...please aside from Q or godlike being SW destroys ST...unless somehow they pulled yet another lost technobabble weapon out their collective ass.

I like good sci-fi. I think Farscape is so far the best sci-fi TV show.
I think Star Wars are the best movies so far.
I think that all Trek except TOS, the good movies and DS9 is crap.

If something better comes along, I'll gladly switch to it as my favorite.

So, I'm not a fan.

A big fan of both ST and SW. There's wonderful themes in both universes that can entertain everyone. I was never one to be sucked into vs. debates because I have no preference. In Star Crossed I try very hard to strike the same balance.

Gah...you LIKE ST1? That movie was just...blah. The plot was decent but not great, and it was just...blah. General rule of thumb as far as I'm concerned is that the even numbers were pretty good, the odds weren't.

Hmm. I thought ST1 was decent. At least the Director's cut.
