:( I told you, I am a puddle of goop--I can't help that much of me is a hopeful romantic...... Sometimes it wins out over my sense of humour....

Just wanted to clear something up. On the first page of this thread, I wrote this about parents bitching about the Harry Potter books:
WHAT?!?!?!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH! HP IS GETTING LITTLE KIDS TO READ 400-PAGE-BOOKS!! WTF IS WRONG WITH THAT?!!!!!
In actuality, the 4th HP book, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," weighs in at 734 pages and is about 2 inches thick. Eight-year-old kids were killing themselves to get their grubby paws on a copy when it first came out, totally unaffected by the size and length of the book.

I just don't understand what the hell those parents are thinking, complaining like that....... :?

Killing themselves to get a copy of the book or being killed when it falls on their heads  ?

Oh, and by the way, Iggy and Zaia:

[fundie moron]

The only 400+ page book that kids should be reading is the BIBLE!

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

And the only person they should read about doing evil and immoral things is God, er. I mean, Satan.

Do we know if this site is real or not?

I think so. Unfortunately, there are way to many websites that hold the same ideas.
