That's what he gets for coming up against the Mack-Daddy of Star Wars!

Bwwwahahahaha! :D

Yeah, he got his lungs crushed telekinetically.

The voice-actor had a nasty cough during his voice-test and Lucas liked it so much, he kept it as part of the performance. Will see how it works out in the end.
I've only seen up till the point where Anakin kills Dooku's little pet project, after that my Hyperspace subscription ran out - so I haven't seen anything past that.

Why the fuck does he have to flap his arms like a chicken though (I'm talking about the German TV footage)? That's just stupid.

The CW episodes are all available for free now. Smaller, yes, but still quite watchable. I don't have the larger versions of CW 24 or 25 either.

The only difference is a matter of degree. Its also worth noting we generally witness this "radiation" only when a Sith is actively using the Force (particularily the more energetic forms of its use, like Force lightning) Presumably what we are seeing is either an involuntary "flicker" of uncontrolled Force power (the size/form it takes depending on the skill/strength of hte user.), or possibly the "ineffiency" attributed to Force usage (since its unlikley that even the Force is 100% efficient) that the user, having died, is no longer able to control or dissipate safely.

Yeah. His two pals exploded too? I don't remember that. Clearly their conflagrations were smaller than Palpatine's; the magnitude may be proportional to the power of the dark sider.

Nice pics. The Yoda vs. Sidious reminds me of one of the publicity shots of the Luke/Vader rematch.

Halfway down that page, Prod botches up several links, including #15 and #3, and omitting #9 and #3.

+http://jangofett01.free.fr/rots%20(15).jpg is a particular gem of two camouflaged Clonetroopers (one is one of those BARC scouttroopers or whatever).

The other links are:

I suppose this begs the question: Why weren't camo Stormies use at Endor?

The same reason everything else on Endor went so wrong- stupid, stupid overconfidence. Heck, we now know they'll use camoflage when the environment warrants ...

Do you know just how much of a bitch it is, having to wash all those Stormtrooper outfits?! I tell ya, it's easier to just dip the frellin' things in a big vat of bleach, and... er... [/laundry trooper shuts up]

That's probably why they replace their armor with new designs every few years; all that white plastic eventually fades into a dingy yellow. Anyone who owns the old action figures knows that. :P

True, I suppose you could also chalk it up to the fact that they were simply a large garrison guarding a facility, hardly something which requires camo. They were simply expecting a dozen Rebels, and an easy arrest. If they were actively fighting (expecting to fight) in a prolonged campaing, like on Kashyyk, I suppose camoflage armor would have been used.
