I grew up in a middle class area 2 blocks from a cluster of farms. Just a couple of miles down the road was a upper class neighboorhood and golf course. Being near farmland doesn't necessarily stop an area from being expensive. The second map is in an area very near farmland. (Burleson, TX about 20 minutes from me)
Now, I'm not saying that what I've said about the real estate value is definitive but I still feel that it gives us a good notion of what it would take to live in the area. In my opinion they would have to be upper middle class at the least to afford to live in that area. Though that's just a guess based on my own experience.
Also note that I'm not trying to defend him either. It's clear to me that he either lives at home with his parents, he's delusional or both.
