The boy stole the gun from a family friend went to school and shot his teacher in the head. The distributor, the family friend, and the school are all blamed and expected to pay.

What is really said is apparently the gun had already been bought before and sold to a pawn shop. Then the family friend bought it from a pawn shop owner and Mrs. Grunow (the widow) sued the pawn shop and the family friend in an earlier suit for half a million. Now she is suing the distributor?
