Pellaeon and Dark Empire

Post by montypython »

What did Captain Pellaeon do during the time period of Palpatine's restoration and his final demise? I haven't been able to find any sources about this, and none of the later novels seem to elaborate on it.

I don't have the exact source with me, but I remember--and nearly accurately--that Captain Gilad Pallaeon was in command of the Chimaera under the banner of the reincarnated Emperor Palpatine per Dark Empire.

He was assigned a command (its believed he was promoted to vice admiral during this period) under Admiral Teradoc (rehabilitated by Palpatine upon return). He would participate in the battle of Duro and be forced to leave the Chimaera as a derelict.

A derelict? So was a new Chimaera commissioned?

The New Republic captured it when Palpatine's resurgent Empire imploded upon his death and refitted it. Pelleaon would later have his agents sieze the Chimaera and bring it back to him.

Where is likely where the proton torpedo launchers came from.
