Has this ever happened to you???
Someone over at SB thought I was a girl and posted his email address.
I think that's the second or third time people have been unsure of my gender.
Has this ever happened to anyone else here?

Nope. I have had problems because my first name is Stephen, and some professors just see the Steph and assume it's Stephanie. Actually, it usually earns me some laughs, since I sing bass. Nothing like them calling out "Stephanie xxxxx" and getting a "Here" as low as I can get my voice .

Nope, I think my name is pretty gender-neutral, so people usually ask before they jump to conclusions. Once I find myself a girlie-looking avatar, though, maybe they'll just stop asking.......? Dunno.

I need to find a good pic of Kazuo Chiba, though I've got a couple good ones of Morihei Ueshiba. Did you know about this site http://www.scri.fsu.edu/~murray/aikido/mpegs.html?Next of Kin wrote:Nope, can't say it has happened. My last avatar was Steve Van Zandt from the Sopranos and the E-Street Band and before that it was Gozo Shioda from the Yoshinkan. Not too many people get that mixed up, maybe Pavel would?

Nope. My posts are usually so horribly immature that only a 20 year old guy would post them, though I do rein it in around here.

Actually, yes. Too many stupid sub teachers read "Patricia" instead of "Patrick." As well, my other logins (Lauden and Jairyn) have caused confusion.
