Huh? What do you mean by you don't have MF.com?

I can't make any sense of that...

Anyway, after DLing several of them, I'm not waiting out for the complete 300 MB torrent file.

I just have wonder how many trekkies are gonna try to use Anakin using his fighters gun to lower the shields of the Invisible Hand as excuse to dismiss the ICS (of course we don't know the power of shield before (the ship was in a battle after all), the same reason why Battle of Yavin best way to define the power of fighter grade shields)

The ship's shields were already down. Anakin takes out a protective atmosphere containment shield for the hanger by destorying an external structure next to the entrance.

it a shield on the Invincible Hand (no one ever said that trekkies wouldn't twist the truth to fit their "arguments")

The shields were faltering during the battle, they weren't all down, but that's sufficient to make it obvious that Anakin didn't carelessly blow through capital ship level shielding with his lasers. There's also the RotJ novelization quotes of Ackbar's orders, who states that Rebel fighters "might" have "a chance" against Imperial Star Destroyers if the Rebel cruisers can bring down their shields- which quite clearly establishes straight fighters vs capital ships is an idiotic argument.

There's also the fact that Anakin was using his ion cannons (ICS labels the outboard guns as such).

Yeah I know that regular fighter guns (Ion or Laser) won't make even a dent into capship level shield, but there's those who argue that the Executor was taken down by 3 A-Wings. (and those look like lasers in the music video

it a shield on the Invincible Hand
Yes, the atmospheric containment shield on one of the hangars. Which is inside the main shield, that had been weakened. :D

Referring back to the VG video clips, I'm assuming I've seen the same ones, which run from the opening titles to the Grievous vs. Obi-Wan hangar duel? I particularly liked the drydock scene before Obi-Wan boarded his Star Destroyer, with gunships and other craft in the background.

... Speaking of which, how many thrusters does the Venator use? I've counted ten from a couple of scenes.

Yes, those are the ones.

And I counted 8 engines, but I haven´t had a clear view of them, so...

BBC wrote: New Star Wars movie 'a bloodbath'
Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith
Hayden Christensen reprises his Anakin Skywalker role in the movie
The new Star Wars film is a "bloodbath" which deserves its parental guidance PG-13 rating, a critic has said after an early screening of the movie.

Revenge of the Sith is the first Star Wars movie to receive a cautionary PG-13 rating in the US.

Associated Press writer David Germain described its action as "relentless".

"It includes sequences more dark and disturbing than anything previously seen in the tragic Skywalker soap opera," he said.

'Gruesomely mutilated'

Mr Germain was among reporters who attended a screening of the movie at director George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch home near San Francisco on Tuesday.

Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith
The movie has not yet received a cinema rating in the UK
"Young Jedi knight Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) completes his transformation into black-hearted villain Darth Vader with a bloodbath against old allies," he said.

"Anakin is left gruesomely mutilated in a death duel with former mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor).

"His surgical reclamation as the part-flesh, part-machine Vader is chillingly juxtaposed against the bleak childbirth scene of his wife, Padme Amidala (Natalie Portman), whose twins grow up to be heroes of the original Star Wars trilogy, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia."

The movie has been given a PG-13 rating due to its "sci-fi violence and some intense images", which warns parents that it could be inappropriate for viewers younger than 13.

Children under 13 can still attend the movie in the US if they are accompanied by an adult, however.

Lucas said he was getting "a lot of flak" from parents concerned about the film's US rating.

"A lot of people saying how can you do this? My children love these movies. Why can you not let them go see it?" he said.

"But I have to tell a story. I'm not making these, oddly enough, to be giant, successful blockbusters. I'm making them because I'm telling a story, and I have to tell the story I intended."

Revenge of the Sith goes on general release in the UK and US on 19 May. Its UK rating has not yet been announced.
Not really much in the way of anything new there, just more confirmation of the fact that it's not exactly going to be fluffy bunnies at dawn. Although relentless action has been known to get in the way of plot at times, still, whets the appetite that little bit more.

I love this part:
"A lot of people saying how can you do this? My children love these movies. Why can you not let them go see it?" he said.
I just want to say to the parents, "Oh come on, you've seen the OT, you know what's coming. Did you really think it was all going to be all milk, cookies, and Gungans?" 8)

In this day and age when parents take even toddlers to PG-13 and R rated films, the hypocritical Bleeding Hearts can frankly shove it.

And that BBC piece was sure a heavy amount of air. There was like no substance to it at all.

The "I´ve seen it"-thread up on the MF.com boards is really nice, an indepth review of the film, including both good and bad points (though the whole "fireships"-tirade is pretty much a WTF? moment for me. I mean, seriously, what the hell was that guy complaining about there? :?

On the "Media reaction"-thread there´s a hilarious negative tirade from some woman with a 9-year-old who can´t handle his "hero" becoming a massmurderer. Lol she even calls Lucas "amoral" for doing it. :P

I'm reading that one right now. It's either one of the dumbest things I've ever heard in my life or one of the best jokes I've heard in weeks. :)

That review on MF.com sucked ass- the idiot is going on and on how he doesn't "buy" Mace Windu defeating Sidious so easily but Yoda getting defeated- erm- you moron- it's all an act, staged for Anakin's benefit.

Does anyone know which music from the soundtrack they're going to play when Anakin fights Obi-wan?
