New sig and accompanying wallpaper type thing.

i got bored this afternoon and decided i was going to try and do something i gave up on a few weeks ago. Recently i've been reading a set of books by garth nix called the old kingdom trilogy, these books have awesome cover designs and i wanted to see if i could recreate this using fireworks.

this is the probably the best cover (these books are great btw, if you haven't already read them i really recommend it.

Anyway, heres my attempt at recreating the main element, i didn't want to do an exact copy which is why its a different shape.
