Incredible Cross Sections: ROTS
I've been looking over the ICS: Revenge of the Sith book but unlike the AOTC: ICS, it doesn’t have the weapon strengths in them. I was hoping it would. Although I did notice that it points out certain things like "Point-defense ion cannon delivers as much heat per shot as 4.8 megaton bomb." or "Quad turbolaser cannon's maximum yield is equivalent to magnitude-10 earthquake." Has anyone ever posted on here or on a website the Data files from the ICS: AOTC ships? I'd like to see those. I'd actually like to find the book but so far no luck.
The RotS:ICS was discussed several weeks ago when it first hit bookstores.
As for the AotC:ICS, to my knowledge no one has ever actually copied the data files down verbatim.

Being on the topic of the ICS..
Saxton sold out!
Ok, I'm joking
But has anyone else noticed that the ROTS:ICS says that the Imperator-class was renamed the Imperial-class? Guess that makes Imperial-class officially official even for us Saxtonites....

A victory for idiocy. You can go on calling it Imperator, since that was the original name for class, just as Kirov would always be the original class name for Russia's biggest Project 1144 (I think it was 1144) rocket cruisers. You can even call all those NR people calling it "Imperial" traitors for supporting Imperial ideals.Lord Sander wrote:Being on the topic of the ICS..

I thought that was Dr. Saxton's way of letting everyone know that both names are valid. I prefer Imperator, anyhow. Even when running WEG's RPG, after I read through SWTC way back when, I started naming them Imperators, verbally and on hand-written documents, even before I came across the ASVS subculture on the net.
The Jedi purge never truely ended until Empires End - He was still hunting down Leia, Kam, etc. By that point the NR has been in charge for quite some time. Which means saying its merely NR slang that got pushed into the history books is still right.Lord Sander wrote:Being on the topic of the ICS..

Seems to me its a compromise with the established mindset that really isn't. Score one for us.
