They watched about 3/4 of it. They did not appear to be involved, although they found some parts a bit scary. Both of them stopped watching. They've never asked to see it again. Not exactly a glowing review.neoolong wrote:Did your kids see it? Did they like it?Darth Wong wrote:Harry Potter was COMPLETELY uninvolving.
PS. I should note, however, that they both like Mortal Kombat. Maybe my kids are just weird.

I've heard that the special effects for HP varied from excellent to crummy.
Particularly that fucking flying sport-thing, whatever. That its effects were really uneven and unconvincing.

I believe in a sign of Zeta.

Not because of the mild punching ... but like ... weren't you concerned for their mental health?

Personally I thought HP was a better show for kids. LoTR is more for adults in my opinion. They watched about 3/4 of it. They did not appear to be involved, although they found some parts a bit scary. Both of them stopped watching. They've never asked to see it again. Not exactly a glowing review.

Mortal Kombat Annihilation- THAT was a crime against humanity. The original was just shit.

I liked Mortal Kombat. The sequel sucked. Hell the only decent thing in the whole movie was Sandra Hess. In revealing clothes. Fighting. In the mud.Vympel wrote:You let em watch Mortal Kombat?Darth Wong wrote:

I think AOTC was sub-par. I struggled to pay attention because it just didn't pull me in at all and the chemistry between Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman was horrendous. I am a dedicated far to the original three movies (TESB being my absolute favourite), thought TPM was pretty kickass, but felt really let down with AOTC.
As for Harry Potter and LOTR, I love both the movies and have been eagerly anticipating both. Right now I'm in HP mode because I just saw COS, but as I will be seeing TTT very, very, very soon (12:01am Friday morning, Nov. 29th, I think), I'm sure I'll return to my view of "both movies really kick ass but LOTR is definitely a bit kick-assier."
D.W., have you kids read HP or have they only seen the movies? Just curious...
