Now, a coat of fur with whatever color patterns you want in it, THAT would be cool...
So you envy this guy?

No, for several reasons.
1) He had no choice about it - or about the color or texture.
2) The human face is not one on which fur is a generally attractive feature; it's shaped wrong. At least minor changes would probably be necessary for it to become aesthetically pleasing.
3) I was referring to fur, not hair. Something like a short, fine covering...and I would be happy with the ability to alter pigmentation at will, as well.

That's more along the lines of what I was thinking of...
Hell, when it comes right down to it, I'm not that enamored of the human form at all. We could use another pair of arms, 360-degree vision extending into the infrared and ultraviolet, and muscles and reflexes sufficient to run thirty miles an hour and survive a thirty-foot fall.

I'd settle for minor, cosmetic adjustments, though.[/img]

I wouldn't mind being genetically altered so that I wouldn't have to shave my legs anymore. Of course, I could always just move to France. ;-)

The cycles of nature are our holy days, the earth is our temple, its plants and creatures our partners and teachers. We worship a deity that is both male and female, a mother Goddess and father God, who together created all that is, was, or will be. We respect life, cherish the free will of sentient beings, and accept the sacredness of all creation." Edain McCoy

Yeah, that's the other extreme, and it'd be nice as well...(as well as useful for the whole skin-patterns thing).

We need to cure baldness, and find some way to induce it everywhere *except* the head ^_^

As long as we're re-engineering the human body. Why does the female have to menstruate and give birth? I think it's a job better suited to the stronger of the species. If men will take over the periods and birth process, I'll agree to take over farting and scratching! Image

No! Never! The right to fart and scratch shall be ours, and ours alone. Our precious...

Personally, I'd like the body constitution of a Gorilla. 400 lbs and able to lift ten times my body weight. Plus, monkeys kick ass. They get to live the male life: sex, violence and comedy.

I'd also like a thick, crocodillian tale to smash bones with, tyranosaurine jaws and claws as long as a grizzly's. Why? Because it's fucking cool, that's why. I could have bones made of titanium alloy, 3 in skin made of kevlar, and eyes able to view the entire electro-magnetic spectrium. Yes, bio-mechanical wankery is the best way to go.

Yes, but biomech might be harder than just tweaking the body itself...
Though a godzilla-like humanoid would look fecking awesome.

The idea of being a monkey is kinda interesting. Hot monkey sex, curiosity & a sense of humor. Plus, I'd get to hurl my feces at all the on-lookers in the zoo!

Ya know, only 49% percent of the population has potential or actual prostate problems :P
