"The Republic will be reorganized into the First Galactic Empire!"

That new TV spot is great, BTW.

Ahhh i see my bad
I can't stop hearing it correctly now. thx ^^

But "reorganized"? jeez. I think I mentally thought "reborn" would sound much better and it sorta stuck so I didn't catch the real one.

He...looks rather pudgy there.

But yeah the spot is great!
I do know how to spell

That was awesome, and I'm with Spanky on this one, there was something very sad about it, the last closing bit with Darth Vader breathing over that long drawn out string bit sort of left you with the idea that somewhere beneath Vader is a spark of what he used to be, the tragedy of the fall or some such nonsense. :D Very good. I continue to get my hopes built for EpIII, curse exams either side of the release date.

When I first saw TPM, I can clearly remember seeing the first shot of holographic Palpatine on Naboo and the feeling of excitement. Then an hour later, I saw the Senate (which remains my favorite set in the saga) and Palpatine at work and I knew right then that I wanted to see more than anything else (including the birth of Vader) Palpy declare himself Emperor and announce the formation of the Empire.

After six years, that wait is finally over. 8)

Man, dig that landing scene on Kashyyyk: big tanks, small tanks, troop transports, air cover, troops riding the tanks in towards land..... yeah, this is Star WARS, baby! 8)

Am I blind? What trailer are those images from, the only new ones I could see were the Seduction and Protect TV trailers, and they aren't from them.

Now that we have seen more of Tantive IV which version is it in ROTS, ANH or WEG?

Does anyone else think that scene looks really stupid? It'd look better if he just vauled over the desk instead of a Xena type spin.

Looks kinda neat actually. Why is it that the old wrinkly masters jump around a lot twirling their lightsabres as they go? First Yoda, and now Sidious.

I think it is sort of like a warm up. Think about it, your body is not exactly young and you've had a desk job for years. Infact you've been sitting down all day, the blood just isn't moving and suddenly three Yedi come calling trying to arrest you. You think you can beat them, but it's always good to warm up before the fighting starts, so you do an overly elaborate jump.

It also makes the jedi wonder what just happened when he vaults over the desk like that, I'd think (unless at this point they alreasy know he is really very powerful).
"Do not worry, I have prepared something for just such an emergency."

"You're prepared for a giant monster made entirely of nulls stomping around Mainframe?!"

"That is correct!"

"How do you plan for that?"

"Uh... lucky guess?"

Yeah, his sextuple axle is kind of a dumb way to leap into combat. Maybe in the film it'll be clear he was trying to distract them, scare them, and surprise them with it?

I agree; makes sense if you consider the misdirection he has/will employ.

I don't think it looks that dumb. It looks like he's trying to keep his weapon in front of him while taking his enemy off guard and closing distance at the same time.

Given what we saw of Yoda...I've long since not given a fuck how they fight. It's over the top glitter to make people go "oooooo".

Still the movie is shaping up better then the others parts, though I wonder what was cut from the film.

Some guy got invited to a screening and lunch with ILM and Lucas, got some nice pics out of it, including this one:

+http://community.webshots.com/photo/343 ... 6111qZAIqQ#

Is it just me, or does the superlaser-dish look smaller than on either DS?

Edit: tried to compare with a pic of the DS, it does look too small, unless it´s outer layer is incomplete.
