Are YOU a trekkie?

Yes, I am a trekkie because I like ST. I am, however sane enough to realize that SW will win.

Gah...you LIKE ST1? That movie was just...blah. The plot was decent but not great, and it was just...blah. General rule of thumb as far as I'm concerned is that the even numbers were pretty good, the odds weren't.
Hmm. I thought ST1 was decent. At least the Director's cut.
1&2 are the best of the ST films. Search for Spock is ok, but it's downhill from there.

I prefer SW over ST and DS9 and NTG from ST, but I am neither Warsie, nor Trekkie.

i'm not a fan of labels.

i like basically the big 3 equally( SW,ST,B5).

As for the VS thing, it really doesn't matter to me.

I'm a trekkie, and I realize that the UFP couldn't hope to match the Empire, even if the UFP technology was equal the Empire simply has more resources to draw upon.

Though I would like to think that a ST vs. SW conflict would go something like Stravos fanfic. :D

Warsie.

Only watch TNG, DS9, and VOY Episodes when bored. I'mma a B5 and farscape watcher but they don't get as much attention Star Wars get from me.

I'm an all out warsie, the only trek I've seen in 3 years has been VOY and DS9. Maybe TNG once or twice. And I was 14 when I was watching Trek, so I'm pretty weak on Trek info.

When TNG was on, I was a total Trekkie. But, now thanks to B & B shitting on the entire Trek mythos, I would not take one over the other. I like TOS and TNG, even a little DS9, but Voyager lowered the bar to the point of no return. Trek is fucked.

As for Star Wars, I liked the original three. Sci-Fi/fantasy royalty. Parts one and two didn't do it for me, but I like Palpatine!

Berman and Braga. The producers/writers of ST. Now. Also, debateably the sole reason why it sucks now.

What do you mean debateably? THey screwed it beyond repair, have you seen Enterprise.

I was once a Trekkie, but I'm now more of a fiver, but I am still loyal to Trek but I know perfectly well that Trek would get their clocks cleaned(am I the only one who avoids cussing?) if they faced the Empire.

Well debateably as the only reason. There may be others, but they still lead back to B&B. So it is debateable, depending on how far you are willing to go back.
