Is this going to be like their special about comic book superheroes, where they just used the characters as a hook to talk about real life science that was vaguely connected to them? Or is it going to be a SOD analysis of SW? The second one would be really cool. It's already been covered by guys like Saxton, Wong, Young, etc., but it would be great to have that stuff on TV for a lot more people to see.

From the adds, I seriously doubt it will be the latter. A shame.

I'll bet you they use lightsabers as a hook to talk about lasers, while complaining/explaining that a real laser can't just stop "like lightsabers do"

It'll be interesting to see what they do for it. It would be kickass if Saxton could have been called up for the show, but that would asking too much im think.

Hold up guys, in the credits for the show you'll notice something interesting, has anyone heard of someone called "Bob S. Anderson"? Apparently he's one of the experts that will be narrating...

The coincidence that the name of one of the experts is Bob S. Anderson. That was mildly amusing.

If it were actually him, I think I'd laugh my ass off anytime he was mentioned or shown on the show.

Come on. The idea of him being on that show would be...frankly...iamazing.

But honestly, I'd rather see Wong on it.

Isn't "Bob Anderson" the name of the sword-master of the OT (and the guy who filled the Vader suit during fight scenes), not to mention the guy involved in creating nearly every memorable sword fight scene on film from the last 40 or so years?

Besides, it can't be Darkstar, he'd be crowing about it on his blog.

Actually, thats true. I didn't think of him, as I didn't know he had a middle name.

Honestly I was completely kidding guys, but I forgot that coincidentally that's the name of the Swordsmaster from ANH (and maybe the other films too). So it was a much better joke than I initially realized...Woot! ;)
