Okay, some things about that blog...

Firstly, his grammar and spelling is atrocious. But I'm sure you all know that.

Next...everything I see agree's with Aries.
Aries said the guy who claimed 4 cores @ 2.5 GHz was lying (the guy posted in his name).

Aries said Retro was working on a Halo killer that was not Metroid and gave some details about it. Sounds awesome.

Aries said the Revolution will outperform the XBox 360 as well.

Next, the controller. Uhm, I don't know. Aries didn't have a ton of details about the controller as he said Nintendo was constantly changing the controller layout, and the development studio did not have the finalized controller. But we do know that it has to be backwards compatible with GameCube games, and the controller we see there...well, I don't see all the buttons necessary. Like he said its a concept, though.

Interesting stuff, thanks. While the guy's grammar makes me skeptical that he's an insider, his information seems on the mark.

Here's something interesting.

What he said was one of Nintendo's concepts but possibly not the final controller...

Remember that Nintendo has a patent for a new Punch-Out! game? Imagine these things as the boxing gloves.

Well it doesn't fit Aries' description...no pressure sensitivity, you couldn't squeeze that without hitting the buttons.

And he said it was only one of the many concepts. Doesn't appear to have the buttons from the GC either.

I'm kind of assuming that if people want to use the backwards compatibility, they will be purchasing (or using one from this generation) a wavebird conroller.
