I am going to miss the midnight showing but I am going to be able to see it during the noon show.

I'm probably going to take the entire day off and see it a couple of times.

Seeing it at 3:50 pm on Thursday, as a work outing. Because it is a work outing, work is buying the tickets, and I'll get paid for it.

Even better, the screen that we'll be watching it on will be 30 feet tall.

Going to the midnight show is just pointless IMO. Seeing it on the evening of the day it opens is what ive done for each movie so far and its what I plan to do with Ep3

I was going with my friends from school, but too slow to reach Fandango I was. There are still other theaters, but frankly the idea was for us to hang out.

Probably won't see it 'til the 28th or 29th, as a birthday thing. Or maybe, if they finish the new theater in town by the time they said they would, I'll see it on the 19th or 20th, but I kind of doubt they will.

The midnight showings around here (Indianapolis) are pretty lowkey. I went to the AOTC midnight showing, all three LOTR midnight showings, and 2 of the three Matrix midnight showings, and the people there were pretty normal. A couple people dressed up, and a couple people waited in line 12+ hours to get the best seats, but overall it was pretty normal. Except for the fact that it was midnight, and we were all going to a movie.

I love midnight showings. For these big blockbusters, it's fun to be one of the first people to see it. Plus, it's become a tradition for my brother and I to go to these things. I can't wait :)

Take pitty on me please!

I want to hit the midnight show, however the girlfriend, who is taking me on a "date" to see this film does not want to go to the midnight show.

The reason?

Well, we rolled up to the Medina Ohio area theatre and were greeted by a line of about 50 star wars fanatics that went full dress to get their tickets, and this scared the hell out of her. Really, I don't have a problem with dressing up if it's done in taste, but when your 45, weigh 300 pounds, and look fricking ridiculous in your darth vader suit (don't remember Vader havinga beer gut) and are swinging your light saber at those not dressed up in star wars garb and calling us bastard rebels (long sentence, eh?) and jumping up and down, you suck, period.

So, no I'll be waiting until this weekend, thanks again Darth Fucktard, you ruined my wednesday night.

I'll probably watch it on Thursday or Friday afternoon, I refuse to shell out over $10 for tickets. Probably less people too since everyone's still at work or in school.

Apparantly programming and lack of sleep don't mix well.... imagine that...

So, no, not going. I'd have to take a day off, and taking a day off a month into the job for a sci-fi movie isn't a good move. Ah, well, there's the evening showing of that day, which I am going to...

Alas, I am not going to the midnight showing. I'm going to the 12:01 AM showing. ;) :D

I've already got my precious tickets (only eight bucks each, not bad for a special showing) for myself and two of my friends, and now I just have to wait two more days.

I can't go at 12:01am, but a bunch of kids and I are going later that day (It's interesting how many "Closet Star Wars fans" come out when a new movie is released).

Well technically, I'm seeing it at 12:05 AM... :P

Is it normal for the premiere tickets to cost more than normal tickets, since I've been heard that a few times.

My tickets were the regular price, and it's at one of the major theatres in Montreal (Paramount).

I'm catching an early showing on thursday. To be honest, while it is tempting to try and see a 12:01 showing, I frankly don't trust my driving ability at 3am.

I can always catch an early show as I'm off for the next few days.
