Fox News is downright awful. A sample of their surveys (IIRC):

"Who'd be more likely to lie, Clinton or Gore?"

Hannity is the worst offender- I hate him more than I hate that ignoramus O'Reilly. He constantly interrupts people and fires off a spout of false dilemmas whenever he gets into an argument. He's also an ignorant piece of shit who thinks Israel can do no evil.

Fox is okay now and then. But I got tired real quick of all the America at War graphics. I get the impression they want us to be constantly at war cause it makes them money.

As for the liberal based media, more and more media outlets are being owned by the same group of company's. I think some media is liberal to be sure, but much more of it is conservative than is widely believed.

Ultra it is NOT a good habit to be in to go after mods when they try to step in and separate two flame warriors. Guys, don't flame Ultra for being ultra liberal (pun intended). With all the conservatives on this board (Mr. Bean, MKSheppard) we need some liberal heavy-hitters for balance.

Ultra - calm down. Not everyone here is trying to attack you. Don't get in a flame war over politics because you WILL lose. Now if you try rationally debating (this would include making sure the evidence really DOES say what you think it does BEFORE posting it) you will have much greater sucess.

Bias in the media - while individual networks may be somewhat biased, overall the media shows only one bias - the bias toward sensationalism. Whichever story is bigger is the one more likely to recieve press, excepting of course those issues sensitive enough that the unpopular veiwpoint would be flamed mercilessly and cause the station to lose veiwers. Of course, since the weakest dog barks the loudest, this means the media has a very strong tendency to be wrong. But there is a net center bias in politics in the media.

Personal opinion - both the liberals and the conservatives are complete idiots. I do not support either position, as I was not raised to vote a straight party ticket (unlike some people...)

FOX news - FOX has never produced anything worth watching. Not only is their news network biased, but more importantly, they are responsible for such atrocities as Simpsons, Futurama, King of the Hill, and Malcom in the Middle - which is why I do not like fox.

DBZ is not indicative of anime in general. NGE is a giant-mecha anime, for one, and not all anime is giant mecha, magical girl or some DBZ-derivative. (eg. Wings of Honnimaise, etc.)

If they wanted to, they could put out a reasonable 20,000 leagues under the sea, though I'm not sure if anyone wants to.

NGE just uses Mecha to sell to the dumb at times...honestly it was decent but Shinji got on my nerves like nothing else for being a whiny pussy. God why couldn't Asuka just fuck him once and give him some balls(and I don't care if they were only 14...the little wuss got to me)

DBZ....is more mindless than professional wrestling.

As for Data's dislike of Simpson...eh...As long he doesn't preach to me why I should watch NGE over the Simpson, it's cool.

The reason I hate Fox news in L.A. is that they glorify these gang assholes. Just about every month, Chris Blatchford has an "investigative report" on L.A.'s street gangs. Its NOTHING MORE than a forum for these fuckups to brandish their weapons, show off their tatoos, show off their tagging skills, be a star on TV as they are shown beating up the public at large. Then they get to call their pals and let them know what day and time they'll be starring on Fox news.

The only cool thing about FOX 11 news (L.A.) is John Beard. He has a great sense of humor, and showed major balls when he dived for a gun that some wacko brought on the set of channel 4 news when he was an anchor there.
