Sarah McLachlan - as above mentioned, maybe without the touching part... at least not as often lol

David Usher - I find his voice very soothing.

Jim Morrison - I've only really gotten into the Doors over the last little while (few months now) and I have to say his voice is a real turn on.

But in actors I generally find I swoon more towards those with accents.

Lord Poe ... I don't know if it is sexy (the ladies can tell me if they find it so), but boy is it enthralling - I'm deadly serious here, no joke kidos.

I'm telling you guys again; you should PM Poe for his phone number and ring him and beg him to say the words 'galactic' and 'senate' ... you will be enthralled!

While plugging some lame internet company? Hand me a barf bag, that's like finding someone from the Home Shopping Network hot. I'd rather see Rosie O'Donnell sprawled naked on top of a baby grand selling Jello-O than stomach another one of those lame overstock.com commercials.

In short: I'm not a fan. :P

PS: Crown, when did you become Poe's pimp, and what kind of cut are you getting? You're rather persistent. :D

Tarja Turunen. It might be the accent but I think she sounds damn sexy. There are a couple of songs..... *drool*

And I saw her mentioned earlier, Shirley Manson. Also very, very sexy.

Might I also add Eve to the list. I don't know what it is but she's also got a voice I find really sexy.

Yes. YES, holy shit yes!

She's also been around in other games too, like Kerrigan in Starcraft, and she played a forgettable token female character in Warcraft. Neither were sexy per se. But Bastila? Holy shit.

She has some range. I think she also did a few audiobooks too, SW related. I seem to recall it on her website?

10% of every soul he entralls - which is pretty sweet since every soul enthralled is compeled to tell others about it and get even more souls enthralled - so it is an expotential increase in soul power.

Personally, I'm storing mine until such time when I have enough soul power in reserve to create my own God-body in order to be immortal.

Well dang, now I have to listen to A Case of You, off Live in Paris.
Sorry for the slight off-topic, but she covered Joni Mitchell?! *Goes into other room, retrieves Live in Paris, plays track 11* ... so she does! *drool*

Joni, by the way, is another Sexy voice. So is Joan Armatrading, Bic Runga, and Julia Fordham, to think of a few more.

I've been under the impression for some years now that Kerrigan's voice was done by a woman named Glynnis Talken.

The singer of Nightwish? Yeah, she has a sexy voice. The funny thing is, her normal speaking voice is completely different. She was invited to the President's Independence Day bash (December 6th, the definitive social event of the year in thiscountry) last year and the TV networks interviewed her and another singer. She sounds completely different. Still a very pleasant voice, just very different from the singing one.

Aside from that, let's see, whoever the actress is who plays Roz Doyle on Frasier, she's got a damn sexy voice. Madonna isn't that bad either.

As for memorable male voices, Takei, Christopher Lee, James Earl Jones, they all have rather impressive voices.

I've noticed that before; it's struck me as a bit odd before. I've got a few live tracks and such and she does sound really different speaking. But then again, so do more than a few singers. Might well be a product of the vocal training. *Shrug*

Safe bet, that one. My cousin and her mother are both singers (of the classical/opera variety), and it's the same with them, the way they use their voice when singing is very different. The basics of such vocal training aren't even all that difficult, just the other day I heard a presentation by a speech therapist, and she demonstrated some of the effects of using your voice in different ways. Just small changes, and it's amazing how she sounded like a different person. For a professional singer, the vocal training is that much more intense and important.

I don't know if Tarja has formally studied singing in some institute of musical learning, but I wouldn't be surprised if she had.

I know. I had a friend that did vocal choir, eventually went to college for it, and I've heard just how much difference that can make. It doesn't always, it depends on just what they sing and how they go about it. But yeah, the difference can be quite suprising.

She's had quite a bit of schooling in that, though I don't understand exactly all the European schooling terms. Never the less, she's had quite a bit of formal and informal training.
