Religion and logic are mutually exlusive. A logical chain of reasoning is not logical if its founded on the something illogical. Religion is a belief in something without proof. Believing in something that can be logically reasoned from a sound basis is not religion.

If God where to come to earth and prove w/o a doubt that he existed, following him would no longer be a religion. It would be like following your President / Prime Minister.

They're both fringe religions w/ little affect on my daily life.

I'm more afraid of things that can harm me, like a radical "one-God-only" fundie from the jewish-christian-islam triad passing some law that infringes on my rights, or deciding my death would further their beliefs.
