A question in galactic population (SPOILER).
During Palpatine's conversation with Anakin in the novelization, galactic population is mentioned to be of "countless quadrillions" or something like that. Is there a similar mention somewhere in the film?

Nope. It's apparently C level.

Things that are added in the novelisation that don't come from the films are C level, according to my reading of the rules.
For example, the Shurra fruit, being in the film, is G level. Its name, being a description of the film, is G level. An additional scene in the novel where Anakin threw it at Padme, would however, be C level.

To wit, Chee says:
In a nutshell, anything created by the author would be C-level. Anything in the the novels created by George Lucas (whether it comes from unpublished early script versions, unpublished author interviews with George, or George's revisions to the novelization manuscript) would be G-level unless contradicted by the films.
If that line was in early scripts or written in by Lucas, it would be G, but I'm not aware of it being so.

C-level and G-level do not attribute canonical authoritative status; they're labels of convienence within the scope of the Leland Chee's holocron. Anyhow, novelisations occupy a closer-to-film, higher-than-EU status with comic depictions, radio dramas, screenplays, and DK nonfiction. "Countless" quadrillions is a character statement which is not necessarily incogruent with a technical reference in a technical source in AOTC ICS implying "quintillions of pioneering engineers" at the Republic's founding.
