ROTS Novelization tidbits (SPOILERS TO MOVIE AND BOOK)

Post by MKSheppard »

I've seen the movie, and now am reading the novelization........some tidbits
I spotted:

..
..
..
..
..
1.) The Humanoid battle droid that fights OB1 even after it's head was chopped off was......an IG-100 series.

2.) A Dreadnought and Carrack Cruisers are part of the battle over Coruscant; there's a scene where Captain Lorth Needa issues an ultimatum
to Grevious...

Someone mentioned that the fight between Sidious and Windu was different in the novel. What happened there? Skip ahead and read faster, MKsheppard! SKIP AHEAD, I SAY!

I already posted an analysis of the novelization a few months ago, Shep.

And the fight between Mace and Palpatine is slightly different- Palpatine's lightsabre is destroyed instead of knocked away, and there's more dialog. Anakin also arrives in a different manner. Saesee Tinn, Kit Fisto and Agen Kolar are also done away with in a different manner.

As I recall, Palpatine's dialog is a bit cooler and more involved in the novelization before the actual fight begins. The deaths of the other three masters are also different, Sidious begins his attack by using the force to slam his lightsaber into Agen's skull and the bisects Tiin's head. Kit lasts a bit longer, but Palpatine eventually decapitates him (his head is on the office desk when Anakin arrives, grinning blankly.) However, the actual main duel isnt too different.
