There's really simple explation why there's no (visible) wound on Aayla (all the shot we see hit her clothes not her skin and you combinied that the dark color (and possible semi-armor nature) of her clothes, it's possible that just don't see the wounds (and soon after she falls, her body is coverd by a leaf(?)).
Also it not that unheard of for a (dark) Jedi to survive massive injuries, but that only with help of another Jedi (and the Person in question was quite strong with the Force).

I may be an idiot, but I'm a tolerated idiot

Look, I saw the wounds. It wasn't my imagination. I guess I'll have to watch it again to reassure myself, since apparently there's either an epedemic of blindness going around or I'm imagining things.

Having seen the movie twice so far, I am almost certain that there were no wounds whatsoever. Perhaps I was mistaken both times, but I was sitting pretty close to the screen and paying attention to that specific scene since I'd found it somewhat weird on the first viewing. Additionally, I found it strange how that big plant conspicuously obscured her body for the rest of the shot.

Thank god, I was starting to doubt my eyes.spongyblue wrote:you dudes are smoking dope. of course there where wound marks. small circular, maroonish (blood, cinders?) color marks. You can see about three or four of them before the "Leaf-of-implied-overkill-because-its-more-dramatic-than-actuall-overkill' shot.

Yeah, okay. There are wounds.
I could use one of those leaves.. whenever I run into someone I dislike, I just toss it over them.
