(Apologies if this question has been answered before; I looked and didn't find anything.)
Is there any part of the blade that isn't 'edge' (i.e. won't cut things it touches)? I'm asking because:
a) Lightsabres are supposed to be capable of inflicting extremely thin cuts (which, IIRC, is what makes them so effective), but:
b) I can't recall seeing a lightsabre blade that looked any thinner than than the handle, which makes me wonder how they're supposed to achieve a).
Does anybody know?
