Potential Darwin Award Winner

Post by Joe »

This guy literally drowned in cow shit. http://www.activedayton.com/ddn/local/d ... rmweb.html

VERSAILLES | A Darke County farmer died today in a Dayton hospital after the tractor he was operating slipped into a manure lagoon, trapping the victim.

Scott A. Winner, 36, of near Versailles was pronounced death at Miami Valley Hospital. Winner had been taken by helicopter to the hospital from the accident scene in northeast Darke County.

According to the Darke County sheriff's office, rescue workers were called to the scene on Willowdell Road shortly after 10 a.m. Deputies said family members and farm workers tried, but were unable, to free Winner. Rescue workers freed him less than 30 minutes after the call.

Deputies said Winner apparently was repositioning the tractor and aerating equipment when they slipped into the lagoon.

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

That's a shitty way to die. Horrible as hell but it sounds more accident than stupidity triggered.

Sounds more like an accident to me too. Now it would have been different if he was trying to cross the lagoon like some sorta monster truck race.

It seems like an , though a very gross one. Most Darwin winners did dumb things on purpose without knowing.

This doesn't fit the criteria of a Darwin Award..But, I could ask Wendy personally if you'd like me to

There will never be a resolution in the evolution vs creationism debate because neither side can conclusively prove that they are right. The creationists can't prove that they're right becuase they're not, and the evolutionists can't prove that they're right because the creationists are too damn stupid to listen.

That was an urban legend. If you examine the "photograph" of it, the shadows are all screwed up. It's a funny story, but it's just a hoax.
