Just went and watched it with a friend and YT300000. 8) It was pretty good, although I did find certain parts disappointing. :?

I've seen it twice so far.

Once at the midnight showing.

Then at 4pm the next day.

Which parts did she dislike from AOTC?

In fecking Riyadh? I'd have to d/l bootlegs off the net to watch it anytime soon. And considering that net access here is for the most part capped at 256kbps, I'd have to burn out my modem and satellite dish to do that

Still, since I'm pretty much spoilered, so it really doesn't matter all that much. And I watched TPM for the first time when it premiered on TV and AOTC on rented DVD, so I can wait. Then again, I might be travelling next month, so I hope SQ would be screening them by then.

I saw it on the opening morning 3am showing, on what my movie ticket claims to be 'Australia's Biggest Screen'. By the time the people i went with sorted themselves out the midnight was sold out. Surprisingly i only saw one dressup (a guy with a green-painted face) coming out of the midnight showing, and one guy had a Trek shirt on .

I had to get my father to watch the baby so I could duck out for a few hours on Thursday afternoon. I thought it was pretty excellent.

Saw it at half past midnight, thursday morning with some friends. There were 2 lightsabre fights beforehand; one by some audience members, and one by some people I knew that worked at the cinema. Then there was the giving away of a limited edition poster to the best costumed nerd, the C3PO guy won and did a robot dance.

The Darth Vader guy was funnier though, he couldn't see shit when finding his way back to his seat, and used his lightsabre as a cane. Also, there was some guy in Leia drag, that I shouted "take it off" at, and got a really loud dirty laugh from someone behind me.

Also, beforehand, my friends and I tried to troll a bit, and asked things like "Is this the one where Picard meets Kirk?" All in all, a very fun experience. By far the best prequel.

Mike, are you planning on writing something about ROTS like you did for AOTC?

Saw it Thursday at 3:30 pm. Thinking of seeing it again, if it comes out on IMAX, definitely.

I'll be seeing it tomorrow.

I know I'm waiting quite late, but I generally hold out a few days after a major film comes out before seeing it. It's a tactic to avoid the huge crowds on opening day, though with RotS there are probably still crowds. Oh, well. :)

Caught a matinee with my grandfather yesterday. It was amazing, although the audience sucked: 50% screaming, little kids and 50% parents of said kids ;)

Seconded. Saw it on Saturday. My wife and I enjoyed it, and it cleared up some confusion for Sherri. With the exception of two children running around the theater during the showing and making asses of themselves, it was a good experience. At one point, I leaned forward and hissed, "You two! Stop running around and sit down!" at the two twerps. Their parents were nowhere in evidence.
