IIRC Organa was on Alderaan, so it's a pretty good bet that he'll be silent.

That was Corde, not Sabe.

I find it ironic that she was saying she failed Padme when the entire point of being a decoy is to absorb attacks, including lethal attacks, against a well-known person.

That makes me wonder, then: what happened to Naboo during the Empire? I wonder if Knightley Amidala-née-Sabé turned out to be a Rebel figure.

In a way we've already seen something like this. Remember the tale of Ulric Quel Droma, the great war criminal of the Sith War. He was found inocent of his crimes because he was corrupted by the darkside. But people including jedi, still came gunning for him, till they eventually got him. Shot in the back.

I would like to belive that a changed Anakin would, be able to find peace with himself, maybe even heal himself physically. Maybe have him go into exile on Tatooine, living in Ben's old hovel. He's still a young man he could even train students at the academy or something.

You guys don't think Luke's testimony alone would carry enough weight to get Anakin exonerated?

Leia's reaction to a live, redeemed Anakin would be interesting though.

I've considered this before for my own fic idea.

I figured that he would find someway to regain his body. Or just ditch the armor and have prothstetics made, finding a method to help his breathing and appearance. He builds a new lightsaber, exactly like his old one.

A newer addition: He combines the only two saber colors he's used, attacks the leader of the Republic and gets hurled out a window by "UNLIMITED POWER".
