ya know, it'd probably help if you'd labeled this was speculative in the topic. or at least somewhere in the OP. :P

Alien planet didn't seem to have much bullshit, and that was from Discovery, which is now basically a spawning ground for bodewash. NatGeo always steps up to the plate. This is gonna be good. :)

So far it looks to me one of the most beautiful Hipothetical RAR!s I've ever seen, and that's only by the previews. Alien Planet seems a bit better tho, curses I missed it...

Alien Planet was definitely worth the two hours. The NG world seems to be a bit more "earthlike", though.

This probably is because many of the creatures have eyes and jaws.

I liked Alien Planet alot and thing it was definately worth the price of admission. My only problem is that it didn't really seem to have complete biospheres in it, but that could be likely do to the immense amount of time it would take to make such a thing.

I wish they would do a series, and create a more complete ecosystem.

I think they probably did, but most only showed us the highlights. At any rate, the NG show looks like it isn't entirely CG.

Why the fuck would they waste time doing stuff that wasn't going to be shown? At the most, some scientist might've pursued it out of his own interest, but they probably didn't design CG creatures and not show them.

That's what I meant. They worked out everything, and showed us the interesting stuff. That amoebic ocean was kickass.

I re-iterate; we *need* a series on this. :) Surely the fans aren't the only ones who can envision the financial bonuses from that?
