OS Databank update: Kashyyyk (vehicles ahoy!)

Post by VT-16 »

EDIT. Found this very interesting:
Though a faithful commander who carried out Yoda's orders, Gree was ultimately loyal to the Republic. When Chancellor Palpatine enacted Order 66, Gree understood it was a worst-case scenario contingency -- the Jedi had betrayed the Republic, and were therefore dangerous enemies of the state.

I was pondering on Commander Gree's similarity in name with the Gree Enclave yesterday! Then this gets posted today!

Commander Gree's backstory only makes the events of the Clone Wars' end a little more tragic. Oh well.

Oddball and Bly don't get their own databank pages yet, though.

The behind the scenes stuff is always the most interesting. The AT-AP, for example, was added because Lucas wanted the Clonetroopers to have more diverse ground armor.

Anyone of the people who were whining about how the clonetroopers should have disobeyed Order 66 because they were best friends with the jedi need to read this immediately.

Anyone else annoyed by the Juggernaut entry maintaining the stupid "turbo tank" moniker?

I know! :x At least he noted the difference between the A5 and A6 model. How about some proper naming and lengths of the Executors and Imperators next, huh? :P

Not really, since it says this in its EU entry:
Affectionately nicknamed the "rolling slab" for its cumbersome, hulking profile, the HAVw A6 heavy assault vehicle is more commonly known as a Juggernaut.
Furthermore it lists the word "Juggernaut" eight more times and only says "turbo tank" twice.

Saporin is another EU-charakter who made it to the big screen.

The entry's still titled "turbo tank". Ugh.

Rolling Slab is a good nickname, though.

That's Pablo again, trying desperetly to disregard Saxton's work in any way he's allowed. Stupid 'tard.

I wonder how many nights he stayed awake in a rage that he had to put Saxton's class designations and weapons stats on the ship entries.

Working now, weird. I tried it three times before, it gave me "This is my apprentice, Darth Maul. He will help you find your lost ship."

Now it works.

really is that from the movie or do you just say so because the databank version of it had that symbol.

Nope-- Stass Allie brings reinforcements to Felucia after Anakin chats with Obi-Wan after the briefing. Apparently she borrows a destroyer from Obi-Wan and Anakin's armada, just like Yoda did to go to Kashyyyk.

Actually, I think it's the third. Whie (from Dark Rendezvous), Vos and now Salporin.
