Things you'd like to see in the Star Wars-verse

Post by Castor Troy »

Like the title says, what are some things you'd like to see happen in the Star Wars universe?

One thing I'd like to see would be a confrontation between the Yevethans and Yuuzhan Vong. Say, the Yevethans capture a large fleet of both Imperial and Mon Cal warships, then build up a swarm of their ships; and then the Yuuzhan Vong fleets arrive. I don't know what would come out of it, perhaps the Yuuzhan Vong and Yevethans would weaken eachother out by the heavy fighting, then the New Republic comes in and mops up.

Yevethans no more

The Vong rolled over the Yevethan like a stream roller, nothing remains of the Yeventhan but corpes

That happened. The Yevethan homeworld was...how you say...pretty much gone. Only a single Yevethan survived in the cockpit of his disabled fighter, and he killed himself afterwards. The entire Yevethan homeworld was basicly BDZ'd.

I was thinking of giving you some sort of a prize, but I can't think of one that's good enough, dammit! :)

Aayla's tits AND Amidala's tits...

An all-out fleet-to-fleet engagement. Between enormous opposing factions (like, two Empires fighting at the same time or something). Huge furball dogfights, broadside-to-broadside capital engagements, with a story told from the POV of the goddamned fleet commanders instead of fighter jockeys.

On a 62' screen.

Similar to the above.
Lets see a full out freken WAR, lets see a few sector fleets worth go at it, I want to see over a hundred capital ships slugging it out, thousands of destroyer sized ships and a few thousands fighters slug it out in full CGI glory

I want to see super high tech ground forces with a sense of tatics at least as smart as 17th centuary Redcoats

Let me have badguys I love to hate and win, let me see cunning plans, not another load of Deus Ex Machina

Not to start an argument, but I am fucking sick of ground battles in Star Wars. I want space battles, not AT-ATs and Juggernaughts and such. I don't care how cool the ground tech is.

The enormous fleet battles described by others here, and a full-blown BDZ. I wan't to see one with my own eyes, not just imagine what it might look like.
"Death before dishonour" they say, but how much dishonour are we talking about exactly? I mean, I can handle a lot. I could fellate a smurf if the alternative was death.

how about a boarding then? And I don't mean ala A New Hope, I mean the see the above massive space battle with a force boarding of the enemey flagship via spacetroopers/zero-g troopes drilling their wall into the hull.

I'd kind of like to see what was happening on either that Venator or the Trade Fed battleship in the opening battle of Ep III. The Venator was parked between the to hangar entrances of the battleship indicating that it was docked there.

I'd like to see how the boarding went.
They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong

But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

The ROTS battle told from the perspective of a fleet commander would qualify, yeah. Instead, we focus on Jedi fighter jockeys. Don't get me wrong, I loved ROTS, but the penchant for the entire SWU to focus on fighter jockeys just irritates me.

At decent ranges for God's sake.

Well I think Amidala would more likely then Aayla (if we use the same actors (as Amy Allen isn't really an Actress)
