Once this office becomes official, and our E-mails start getting monitored, what say we just E-mail each other detailing false plans to bomb various cities? That way, once the Feds come to our doors, we can get the ACLU to back us up and take the office to court.
It's already been done with Echelon. There was a Jam Echelon day in 1999, but
it didn't go so well.
There was another in
2001.
And from
cipherwar.com:
Oct.21.2002 - There was no organized Jam Echelon Day 2002 that we at Cipherwar were aware of. It is our opinion that Echelon is a symptom of a much larger problem. It is our intention to continue educating people about Echelon, but there are still many other fish to fry.
Cipherwar is an interesting site, with many links to more Echelon information, including
excerpts from the European Parliament's "Temporary Committee on the ECHELON Interception System" report and an
Echelon FAQ with sources.
Of course, you can still contribute to 'jamming Echelon'. Add parts of this
list to your sig.
One creepy coincidence in the list:

And yes, that new logo is quite silly looking, like it's from a bad '80's movie named Mega Force FreeMasons or something like that
