Whatever. Everyone has their own tastes, and I'll admit that I like TOS and the early TNG, though I consider the late ST series to have been rather poorly done.

I liked TOS and TOS Movies (1-6), I think many people here feel that TOS and the following movies were the best of ST ever.
I didn't like TNG, DS9 was a bit better though still far away from decent, and I absolutely hated Voyager.

So do a lot of people. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Unless you have Wesley posters on your wall and ST bed sheets and Kirk boxers.

Nothing wrong with the latter two IMHO, but the first one should definetely not be.

Hmmm Kirk Boxers...well those would probably have some attraction powers over Orion Women

Wow. These are the first non-hostile comments towards Star Trek I've seen on these boards.

If it's ST bedsheets with TOS characters and ships, I'd buy them.

As long as we're coming clean, I too have a confession. I like Enterprise.
data_link has resigned from the board after proving himself to be a relentless strawman-using asshole in this thread and being too much of a pussy to deal with the inevitable flames. Buh-bye.

We don't hate Star Trek, we just hate the bastardization of it caused by B&B.

nothing wrong with liking trek.

just because one likes trek doesn't mean it's technology has to be better than [insert random sci-fi], that's the problem with rapid trekkies.

I think alot of times anti-trek comments are used on this board as ammunition against trolls and rabid trekkies. That, or because they're anti-B&B sentiments, which makes sense, as they've totally ruined what was likeable about TOS and even the good parts of TNG.

Anyway, I'm hoping it's mainly troll ammo and hyberbole, otherwise we've got alot of irrational flamers on this board (sometimes it sure seems like it, though).

Whats not to like about star trek (aside from wesley, bad acting, and a unheathy trust in there tech.) I mean it's fun and funny at times and in some cases gives hope for the future.
Me the big reason why I like Star Wars is that it is more like the world we live in today just way out there plus the fact I am a power hungry individual who loves dominating others.
