Let me just say, I've tried on those IPEX nipple concealing bras. See, I am rather large on the bra scale. Not huge mind you, but it's often hard to find my size in department stores, unless they're granny type bras. Big girls like sexy bras too, dammit! Anyways, I went to Vicky's to try on a plethera of colored and sexy-type bras. This Ipex bra made me laugh harder than anything. My friend and I were just staring at my breasts and laughing!!

See, because I have larger breasts, they are less perky (though I don't think they're saggy...) The nipples are generally smack in the center! Well, this bra was a bit of a push up, in that it gave me a tiny bit of a lift. That's not the problem though. The problem was the shape of the cup included a space for the nipple- completely not anywhere near where my nipples would fall. Maybe it was a thing with larger sizes (38D and DD), but it made it look like my nipples were on the top of my boobs, pointed up. Imagine regular boobs, then move the nipples up from the widest point out on the curve up an inch and a half, and point them TOWARDS THE CEILING!

Most hilarious thing ever.

Whats cooler than nipple-concealing bras are the engineering masterpieces with inch-thick plastic plates with artificial nipples on to make it look like you're not trying to add a few cup sizes. They're not very ridgid, so the faux-nipples move all over the place independently of each other. Hilarity ensues?

BTW, when a bra makes a 'clunk' sound bouncing off my mirror, I've got to raise an eyebrow.

I know what you mean, Avalon616. My ex didn't like shopping for bras at Lane Bryant, since aside from her DDs, she wasn't -no, I won't go there. She also didn't like their clothes. Women's clothes are absurd. Men's clothes have more or less uniform sizes, but a DD-cup at VS is way smaller than one from LB. She was not amused when I would say "It doesn't matter since it's coming off immediately when I get home anyway." Since sleeping on the couch gave me a sore neck...

This isn't actually a government trend; it's a religious consumer pressure trend. Religious people have figured out that if you complain to the public, you get a yawn. If you complain to the government, you might get some half-assed attention, but only if you bring a wheelbarrow full of cash. But if you complain to companies, threaten to boycott them, etc., the companies will kowtow to you because a company cannot afford to lose a customer, and they know that while puritans will probably make good on their boycott threats, regular people won't boycott them for kowtowing to the puritans.

Yeah, but wouldn't people stop watching shows if they were subjected to the kind of censorship that 10 year olds need? Honestly, blurred nipples are for kids' versions. Plus, I have a feeling that nipples attract a significant portion of the audience, and that the number of viewers will begin to drop if shows are sugared down. Besides, are puritans such a huge demographic that a boycott will actually be worse than bowing to their needs?
