What if Dooku hired someone else to be cloned for the army?

Post by Sidewinder »

Let's say Dooku found a gateway that let him travel to other universes, and he used it to find a candidate for the clone army. Who do you think will be the best choice?

In my opinion, Naked Snake will be the best option, not only because of the skills he demonstrated in the Snake Eater mission-- skills that are enhanced to superhuman levels in Solid Snake, Liquid Snake, and Solidus Snake-- but also because the resulting clonetroopers will be a valuable ally to Dooku when he chooses to eliminate Sidious. Dooku will tell the clone commanders, "Join me, and you will gain power beyond your wildest dreams." The clones would say, "I don't dream... unless it's worth my time." Then Dooku will negotiate the terms by which the Grand Army of the Republic becomes the Grand Army of the CIS... and Sidious will be screwed.
Please do not make Americans fight giant monsters.

Those gun nuts do not understand the meaning of "overkill," and will simply use weapon after weapon of mass destruction (WMD) until the monster is dead, or until they run out of weapons.

They have more WMD than there are monsters for us to fight. (More insanity here.)

Personally, I would say Kirk, but the problems with that are many fold. But if you tear his armour, you suddenly get a super soldier.

On a more related quote, I suggest Mario. Not only is he short, he happens to be super powerful, capable of lifting up Bwoser and tossing him a considerable distance. If you want super strength, excellent plumbing abilities and good Italian food out of your Clone Army, choose Mario.

I'd suppose it's a split between Snake and Jango - Sure, Fisher's an excellent infiltrator and spy, but all I know about his abilities in regard t front-line combat duty is just that he'd served in the marines, and Kirk's out for obvious reasons.

Isn't this more of a OSF topic than WvT, by the way?
This has been another blunder by you friendly local idiot.

If they cloned Jim Kirk, the galactic population would skyrocket.

On the plus side, he'd be able to make battledroids' heads explode just by talking to them.

Fisher would be a fucking terrifying base for the ARCs and other recon clones... Use Jango for frontline combat, or another possibility:

John Clark/Kelly - This man is BEGGING to be made into a clone army.

"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."

Jack Bauer.
"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger." Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials

None of those are superior to Jango for one simple reason, Jango also was a expert pilot. Sure the clones get their own training, but when it comes to natural ability I think Jango is the most well rounded for a single caste army.

Imagine the power of the Wall of Ignorance a million Darkstars would create!

The special attack of the DS-clones would be the "Super Bands of Brightness"; they shout "Bands of Brightness! GO!!" and all enemies are vapourised in a magical chain reaction. The clones then celebrate their victory and all by-standers feel like they've just lost 10 % of their brain cells!

And they would probably all be born with metal implants in their necks. That's got to count for something

Felix won't die. But he does not win per se. All he does is survive.

Dan Dare, Pilot of the Future.
He's a pilot, and has nifty hand-to-hand skills. Plus, is almost as good at talking things down/to death as Kirk, but is more english.
According to wikipedia, "the Mohorovičić discontinuity is the boundary between the Earth's crust and the mantle."
According to Starbound, it's a problem solvable with enough combat drugs to turn you into the Incredible Hulk.
