So, a while ago i found out that Salm was a Star Wars character. When i picked my username i didn´t have a clue. The name was completely random.
I know that he´s an Y-Wing pilot but i wasn´t able to figure out which one. Has anybody got a picture?

I believe in a sign of Zeta.

Aha, cool. Thanks. I also found this one:
But since it´s a sideshot and he´s wearing a helmet it´s not so useful.
Does he appear in any of the movies without helmet or at least from the front?

I honestly have no idea, although if he was a Y-wing pilot at Endor, we certainly wasn't a general back then.

He is a general as of the X-Wing series, in which he still flies Y-Wings. He could very well have been a general then, as that's only a scant few years after RotJ. This is the first I've heard of him being at Endor though, although it shouldn't surprise me.

He was the lead pilot of the Y-wings that flew into the second death star. He survived and was later promoted from colonel to general.
