What Skin Colors do Twi'leks Have?

I dispute parts of Saxton's hypothesis.

Attractive female Twi'Leks would be sold as slaves off-world, which prevents them from propogating their traits in the future generations of their community.

Unless they get sold back, or the lease ends or something, when they're age is showing and they start having kids then.

Either way, their family is basking in wealth and power on Ryloth, stifling the suscess of anyone without 'human-like' features or tendancies for attractive daughters. Even if they're not returning to raise their children, chances are their immediate family grows large and prevalent from the wealth (likely subsequently invested in Ryll, adding more wealth). Or perhaps the fact the human traits appear chiefly in females enables the males are still present to ensure the upbringing of their offworld mates' offspring. It could very well be further spurred by genetic engineering, but their role in the galaxy over the milennia strongly points to their influenced development.

I've got a question. Why can't they be any color they want? They live in a universe as technologically advanced. Surely they've got plenty of cosmetic technology that they can alter their skin tone to be any color they desire.

That's likely, though it has been already been noted that Twi'leks have different racial colorations. It may be that true blue skin is worth more than fake to most beings, considering that Twi'leks' value takes their color into account.
