Had a last-minute request from our Hardware Engineering manager to use my training lab as a conference room for a teleconference/presentation with some Intel guys about processor development, probably for processors we're looking at using in future hardware ....

After 15 minutes I have a nearly overwhelming urge to buy AMD processors. They show up 15 minutes late, can't get their damned ThinkPad to work with my projector (even though our laptop docking station and 3 servers use a KVM switch to talk to it no problem), and give me some attitude for not making it work in 10 seconds .... even though I was here a half hour early just in case they needed technical assistance in setup.

Hey asswipe, you want the equipment to work properly for your presentation, how about you come ten minutes EARLY next time? Bah ... frickin' Fortune 1000 clowns think their shit smells like vanilla ice cream ...

They're probably just still high on a power-trip after the Apple-Intel announcement.

People should have to be licensed before they're allowed to use PowerPoint in presentations.

But you don't know pain until you have a college professor teaching an entire course off of Powerpoint.
