A rabid trekkie experiment.
Is there some big supporter that trek would win a war with the empire. Sort of the Wong of trekkies. If so I think we should pull a heavy anti-him thing on another forum, finding errors in his work and discrediting him for it. Then see how the trekkies react when we do it? For one I think it would be funny, and perhaps useful. Oh, and who ever does it should hide under the guise of John Clark.

His name is Grahamn Kennedy. While the bulk of his site doesn't deal with "Star Wars vs Star Trek," his crossover fanfic does. He has Imperial turbolasers not being able to penetrate Federation shields, and the Defiant destroying the Death Star with a photorp.
According to this guy, a full broadside of an ISD against the Enterprise E would only cause a 1% loss in shields because as we all know, Feds are immune to lasers, regardless of power. The Enterprise would then return fire, doing rapid phaser shots, easily taking out all weapon emplacements in one short swoop.

The most basic assumption about the world is that it does not contradict itself.

Yeah, but Kennedy is just an idiot. We need some site like Wong's to discredit. One that is big. Then again, if one is smart enough to create a site like Wong's (replete with calcs and everything), then he would almost HAVE to support SW, because he would recognize that ST would lose! I guess all the intelligent people already agree with us, so there really isn't a lot that we can do.

Of course he also assumes fusion is nuclear fusion, again from an official sourse, not a canon one. And then there's "The phenomena has a definite range over which it operates - approximately one hundred and fifty kilometres." Despite the fact the DS is 160 km long and only WEG thinks it's 120. Again, picking and choosing
And when I (a long time ago) showed him his figures for hyperspace speeds were wrong guess what he said? I'm sorry you didn't like the story!

yeah, i read that garbage fanfic.
I stopped reading it when picard compared a Star Destroyer's firepower to a friggin runabout. Master Mong's fanfic was the wet dream of SWvsST, while Mr. Kennedy's fanfic was the turd of SWvsST. Another great fanfic was chuck sonneburg's Worlds Without End trilogy at sfdebris.com. If you havnt read it, i suggest you do. The only thing is, he hast updated the site since November, 2001.
