Vladimir Taltos(from Steven Brust's Draegarea novels) is transported through space and time to face a number of challenges in a variety of universes. Vlad has access to all his connections and organizations and can travel between the universes freely through a hidden, remote teleport point. Let us assume his link to the Imperial Orb is sustained in all universes.

He is, for those who don't know, a very competant assassin, witch, and sorceror.

14) Fred Phelps
15) Emperor Hirohito
