Anyone else try LEGO SW yet?

Post by CmdrWilkens »

Let me just state that this game is awesome. While overall a little on the short side (I played through just the basic level completion in just under 18hrs) its got a lot of additional content plus the neccessity to go back through levels with characters you pick up along the way...oh yeah and watching most of the cutscenes they're freakin hilarious all that in addition to a very playable game without too much complexity as far as controls go (if I need to memorize twelve button combos to get through a game its not the kinda thing I like). Anyway I've enjoyed imensley and I'm just curious who else has been jumping into this pool?

It's an amazing game, even better when you play through the entire story with your brother. It's short, but I still play it for fun and it always comes out whenever my brother visits.

Highly recommended, if I didn't make it clear enough already.

It's hilariously silly. If I had the hardware to run it I'd get it.

I need to get it for PC, and find a friend.

Put it this way: Me and a friend spend atleast an hour in GameStation playing it, before being kicked out. It's utterly barking, damned funny and mildly odd.

Plus, in what other game can General Grevious and Yoda double-team Darth Maul?
According to wikipedia, "the Mohorovičić discontinuity is the boundary between the Earth's crust and the mantle."
According to Starbound, it's a problem solvable with enough combat drugs to turn you into the Incredible Hulk.

After buying it for my brother's birthday and playing it with him, I conclude that it is worth the money. May I point out that it is the ONLY star wars game that you can kill JarJar Binks. Nuff said.

Damn, if they would have added that on the box, I would have bought lego sw instead of the normal SW game 3 days ago

Allright. This game is highly addictive. Just finished the podrace and that was more tense than Episode One: Racer and did a sneak peak at the battle of Coruscant

Let me put it this way, battle of Coruscant =

Played it, loved it. Currently going through each level with additional characters to unlock the secret content.

Geonosis battle as Mace Windu is absolutley terrific. Replayed it as Darth Sidious and damn is he a badass LEGO lol.

Lightsaber combat is addictive and really enjoyable.

Overall excellent game.

Hmm, I take it Eidos is on to a winner here. I was tempted to get it not long ago, but then my brother considered the standard Episode III game and then we just didn't get anything. Time to reconsider...

The whole "to be continued" has me hoping and praying for a classic era follow up in the footsteps of Eps IV,V, and VI.

Played it at my friends house, loved it. I thought you could unlock the OT in the game?

How could you unlock what is essentially another full game? No, theyll follow it up with an OT version of LEGO SW, to be sure.

There's a single mission from the OT, with Darth Vader, stormies, rebel troopers etc. I think it's the T-IV.

What platforms, other than PC, is it available for?

While I personally love this game concept, I do partially blame Star Wars for the downfall of Legos. When I was a kid, Legos were awesome. I had pirate ships, Lego space, castles, etc., but as soon as Star Wars Legos came around, all the other legos started to suck.

That I know off: the GBA (gameboy advanced). That'll be offcourse a lot more different than on the big consoles. But looking at the box, it seemed to have nice graphics for a GBA game

IIRC, that mission ends with a "To be continued...", which means that you either have to watch the actual movies to find out what happens next (for the younger generation who might have never seen the OT yet), or they think that sequel game set in the OT is quite likely. Doesn't mean there will be one, necessarily.

I've got the game, and love it, but there's an issue that's bugging me: The music cuts out and loops after 20-30 seconds per track, though the tracks change as appropriate, and the sound in the cutscenes just cuts out after the same amount of time.

Could this be because of the no-cd crack I am using? All my other games work fine sound-wise, and I've not had similar trouble before.

Computer specs avaliable if needed.

umm...is a no-CD crack violating board policy? I wouldn't mention that again
It doesn't violate board policy. It does not imply illegal activities.
