D&D mage 46th level vs Yoda

The battle begins at approx 100 meters, both know the respective abilities of his opponent. Let the carnage begin!

Feats-configured in such a manner as to allow the mage to cast epic spells, metamagic to 17th level equiv, cast 15 spells per round and apply all metamagic feats at only a =1 to effectice spell level. he can cast spells, quickened twined intensified, energy admixed, and extended.

Yoda may be able to dodge a hellball. I can see Yoda leaping into the air and crosing the 100 meter distance in about a second, but the mage is to quick and yoda is hit b a stream of magic missile.

Yoda: powerful you are

Mage: As are you, not many would survive that.

Yoda swings his lightsaber at the mage, who artfully dodges the plow, and smacks yoda upside the head, electricity arcs from his fingers and yoda goes into spasms from the shocking grasp spell.

Yoda: toying with me you are

Mage: Yes*smirks(by the way the mage looks a hell of a lot like an anime character, so the smirk loods especially evil)

yoda decides to full out the big guns, and uses the force to throw the mage against the wall of the arena. The mage was expecting this, and erects a telekinetic sphere around himself, and harmlessly bouces around the arena. The mage opens a small hole in his barrier and lets loose a disintegratre spell, yoda uses his lightsaber to deflect the ray, and it vaporizes a section of wall.

Mage: nice trick

Yoda: At the Jedi academy learned it I did.

Mage: very cool, I will have to learhn to do that someday

Yoda: yeeeeeeeees. End this now I must

Yoda reaches forth his hand and begins to crush the mages trachea, the mage counters with his own version of that particular power, before he looses the ability to speak, Yoda and the mage rise into the air, gasping and choking for breath.

The mage however, will not be undone, he crafteed a wand of fireall just for this purpose, it activates not by a voice command, but apon the creator, mentally commanding it to fire.

Before yoda could react a fireball is sent carreening toward him, he is forced to break concentration, and use the force to puch himself out of the blast radius.

The mage knows he has the jedi now. His last spell is t a flesh to stone spell.

Yoda fells his skin hardening and it becomes hard for him to move, then ...nothing, darkness.

He falls to the ground a solod chunk of yoda shaped granite, with a resounding thud.

Any mage over level 15 would kill Yoda in oh... say 6 seconds.

Mage: Casts Disintegrate
Yoda: Fails Fort Save
Yoda: Disintegrated
Mage = Win

100m apart... that's 300+feet. Unless Yoda is some paragon munchkin gnome there's no way he can cover 300 feet on foot, even with haste. Considering he has to move 15 times faster than normal, and
aster Speed only allows him to move 10 times faster, even if Yoda wins initiative he's screwed. Plus the Mage can just cast ethereal form and Yoda's hosed. Just pop up behind him with a tasty flame arrow and Yoda bites it.

He takes a run action, using force speed, he is moving 40x faster than usual. He can use precog to dodge most things as well.

I know the mage will win(i designed him) but it will not be a cake walk.

Okay, so he takes a run. He CAN'T attack.
And Mage laughs and kills Yoda in any one of a number of ways, like the aforementioned Disintegrate.

And precog? Quickened True Strike + Disintegrate in same round = win

Yoda can bounce blaster bolts. Doesn't say anything about disintegrate blasts, or maximized cones of cold, or whatever.

THough I still think Yoda is bad-ass... just that there is bad-ass, and then there is " oh my god that guy is lame! " bad-ass.

A 46th level mage can, if he's outside of the damping fields on most worlds, kill any deity he chooses. This isn't even funny.

Slight problem. Those figures don't jibe with the canonically observed abilities of Yoda, not when you factor in Windu's stats. Which is only to be expected, really.

All of the D20 character levels are way to low for the most powerful people, there really isn't anyone who breaks 21st level. Come on, Yoda only made level 20?

Just from where in the actual D&D there is such stats ? Gods does not have such stats much less Yoda (have a huge lifespan, so does the elfs) or any 40 or morel level character.
But Yoda would lose. Jedis are just a mix of fighter-psionics in the end and a 45 level mage can not kill any god he wishes, but beneath this, they are over power.
Its not because a disintegrate ray, which is something that we expect Yoda not only to dodge but to survive, but the rest ? Prismatic Sprays, Yoda can not break a wall of force, he can not avoid Power World Kill or stun and the mage can for sure give him damage enough to reduce his hit points - if needed - to the 100 hp limits, And Basically, Yoda can not stop a Time Stop.

A lot would depend upon the mages will save, if he fails, then Yoda gets to make him Riverdance to amuse the young Jedi students.

the action of Yoda would be coming close to the mage. There is no need of the will save (which is good enough around this level, not to say the high number of spells that block any kind of mental attack, raize, savings, etc) because the mage, even if he lost the iniciative, will do his next act. If the mages act he won.
