RPG crossovers

Post by Gunhead »

Since RPGs are kewl, and I'm bored, I shall ask the good roleplayers of SD.net: What RPG crossovers have you taken part of or designed? Matters not if was good or bad, let's hear them. As I'm the one making this thread I shall go first.

I once took part in a WH40K/Call of Cthulhu game. It was fucking great. Basically we were a group of under cover inquisitors that investigated all sorts of mysterious happenings, for the greater good of the Imperium.
The campaign sadly was pretty short, but was a blast while it lasted. In the campaign mega ending, the last of the characters went insane when it was revealed to them that the whole emperor/chaos thing was one big sadistic joke played on humanity.

Back in the wee days of AD&D, I played in a Greyhawk/SW crossover, with the players being invading stormtroopers. Pretty wankish, but it was short and very fun. The only things we had trouble with were mages. *shudders*

Do this every night. Most fun would have been holding off a death god with a hastily raised militia on a backwater dustball that was nothing but a hive of scum and villainy.

Do a Star Wars, Farscape, Stargate (all D20 for ease) Cross over, and toss in Gamma World, D20 Future and D20 Apacolyse, and you should be busy for years.
