A design flaw limited to the first models at that. Later models and upgrade fixed the problem.
What's next, the Scimitar being replaced by the Klingon Bird or Prey from ST:VI?
Scimitar could whup that BOPs ass anyday

Agreed. Sela would have made this a far more personal battle.

I just stated a fact that in vs debates that it is generally accepted or said "1 hit to a fed ships warpcore or nacelle" will turn them into cosmic road kill.

Quiet you!
Yea well I always assumed it was a general Idea it was all fed ships were made out to be like this.
In the eyes of the Non trek side.
Sorry it has been a good long time since I actually debated ST vs SW so I am probally outdated.

Actually they did when the 2 Son'a ships were chasing the E-E the E-E fired a QT from its rear launcher at the pursuing Son'a vessels.

Incorrect. It fired 2 photon torpedoes from its aft launcher.

Exactly, They didn't look like Q torps at all!! then Again that also could be attributed to crappy Special Effects.

Unlikely given that we see the E-E fire photons from this very same launcher in Nemesis.
Alyeska, you too...

No, I mean the Torps looked shitty compared to FC, as for Nemesis I thought those were pulse Phasers.

Actually, if you think about it, why would a solid object (A photon/quatum torpedo) look like a ball of light? I think the new look in Nemesis portrays the torpedoes in a more realistic manner.
I'm pretty sure that the reason they cloned picard is some sort of psychic connection. Thats what Shinzon implies, that he sees exactly what picard sees. Tho, it should be noted, that Shinzon seems to be little more then a slave to the Remans. I can well guess that at some point Shinzon will turn good but not soon before dying.

Agreed. Sela would have made this a far more personal battle.
And made the WOK ripof even more transparent.
It has explosions in space. I'll see it.

Really. WOK involved the Romulans, a cloaking ship, a ship that was vastly more powerful then the Enterprise. It inolved the daughter of a former Enterprise crew member. It involved finding an android?

I feel guilty for having a look at the vide clip, I didn't do that for AOTC, because I didn't want to spoil the movie for myself.
She is Tasha Yar's daughter who just happens to be half Romulan.

Oh yeah, HER, now that would have been an excellent choice. Oh well, btw how did Sela die? I just remeber her disappearing after the Klingon Civil War.

She didn't, she just disapeared as you said.

I must say, Nemisis looks as if it just might be a good movie. Now as long as I see a fleet battle I will be happy.
